Sgwd Gwladys
I loved the natural amphitheatre surrounding Sgwd Gwladys — the way the rock curves around the falls makes the slender waterfall really stand out against it. I’m glad we stopped here for lunch, as it gave me time to settle into the composition properly.
The final image is an 11-photo panoramic shot in portrait orientation, left to right. I also blended in 4 additional frames at a faster shutter speed to recover the sky in the top right — it’s a subtle thing but makes a real difference to the finished result. The lush greenery crowning the rock and the dark still pool at the base complete the frame nicely.
