Ogwyn Horse
I was hiking up the Ogwyn Valley to scout a location for an evening Milky Way shoot over Tryfan when I came across these two ponies on the open hillside. Completely unplanned.
I spent a while trying to get them both positioned nicely against the backdrop of Tryfan and the Glyder mountains, but getting two horses in the right place at the same time proved impossible. Ended up with this single shot — the golden chestnut pony grazing with Llyn Ogwen and that dramatic rocky cwm behind it.
Not what I hiked up for, but I’ll take it.
